Burgers, Dogs & Wings

Looking for some tasty wings or a good ‘ole fashioned burger with hand-cut fries? There are plenty of places to choose from, many with specialty sauces, unique spins on classics, and locally-sourced ingredients. And we know it’s odd, but we’re known for our little hot dog places. They’re good and the source on a never ending debate on who makes them the best. Ask a local if they are Team Teo’s or Team Hot Dog Ranch.

Flat Burger Society

The folks who brought us Thistle and Mirth have opened a new spot a few yards down the road with the unpretentious tagline: “Flat Burgers. Live Music. In a Basement.” They offer traditional and new twists on burgers (yes, they really are flat for extra flavor) using local beef,, fries and beers. Check facebook page for music schedule and trivia nights.

Lantern Bar & Grill

Acclaimed chef/owner Bjorn Somlo has been nominated as a rising star chef and best chef in the Northeast by the James Beard Foundation more than once and as The People’s Best New Chef by Food and Wine magazine.  Under his culinary vision, the Lantern is famous for much more than amazing burgers. The ever-changing seasonal menu takes inspiration from the Berkshire bounty, resulting in some of the most creative and savory dishes around. Intimate pub-style feel in an urban setting with the coolest neon sign in town and a full bar only add to the hip atmosphere.
