3rd Thursdays Street Festival

Upstreet Pittsfield’s award-winning street festival, 3rd Thursdays, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The street festival takes place May-October in downtown Pittsfield. The largest free outdoor event series in the Berkshires, 3rd Thursdays are family friendly and open to all. It features music, performance, food and community activities.

Barrington Stage Company

Attracting more than 60,000 patrons each year, Barrington Stage Company continues to gain national recognition for its superior-quality productions and comprehensive educational programming. Co-founded by Artistic Director Julianne Boyd in 1995, BSC was the first theatre in the US to perform after the shutdown. Berkshire Theatre Group’s Colonial Theatre

Berkshire Theatre Group is a center for acclaimed and transformative work, featuring world-class theatre and musicals, legendary musicians, comedy, and family events on multiple stages and spaces, in Pittsfield and Stockbridge. First Fridays Artswalk

First Fridays Artswalk is the largest year-round monthly visual arts event in the Berkshires. Every first Friday of each month from 5 to 8pm, downtown retailers, restaurants and businesses along North and South Streets, transform into art galleries. Lichtenstein Center for the Arts

This city-owned community arts center boasts a first-floor gallery space, hosting changing art shows featuring local and regional artists, classes, performances, gatherings, readings, and more. Herman Melville’s Arrowhead

Arrowhead was author Herman Melville’s home from 1850 to 1862, where he wrote the great American novel Moby-Dick and other works. It is now home to the Berkshire County Historical Society, which offers tours, nature trails, exhibits, a museum shop, and special events and programs.

Pittsfield Suns baseball at Historic Wahconah Park

The Pittsfield Suns are a collegiate summer baseball team competing in the Future Collegiate Baseball League of New England. The league consists of 9 teams: six from Massachusetts, one from Connecticut, and two from New Hampshire.
